Huge Disappointment
I really was expecting this gun to be great - I'd seen so many good reviews of it on YouTube. But the Jackal massively disappointed me. For starters, the gun weighs about as much as a brick - my full size M&P 40 is still lighter than this behemoth of a gun. The rear "safety" is just for show, as the actual safety is located next to the takedown lever. And here lies the next issue: the only way to field strip the gun is to have it set to Full Auto. You cannot field strip the gun on safety - the safety lever blocks the takedown lever, because they swing in opposite directions against each other. This is a huge safety risk, and a really poor design choice. The trigger pull is atrocious. On safety, the trigger is locked in place, as opposed to freely moving. On semi-auto, the trigger only moves about halfway back, getting stopped quite harshly in the half-way position. With how far forward the trigger sits to begin with, this feels incredibly uncomfortable and the reset is very laggy. Only on full auto does the trigger travel the correct distance. If you're looking to purchase. a full auto blank pistol, get the Zoraki 914 - the Jackal isn't worth it
