Kimar 1873, antique gray
Nice quality piece without dropping a big stack of money. I've actually seen "real" guns that don't have the quality of fit and mechanics that this Kimar blank gun does. Really pretty smooth action and nice balance. Decent weight to it - doesn't feel like a toy at all. Only thing that appears to MAYBE be a little weak is the ejector, but time will tell on that. I thought the antique gray finish was too overstated and tacky looking, so I took some Scotchbrite and steel wool and burnished it to a nice "bright metal" finish - and it looks GREAT. I'm seriously considering buying a second one for playing "Two-gun Sam" kind of roles.
